To us, exploring a city goes far beyond visiting famous tourist attractions, museums and places every tourist goes. Athens has a lot more to offer. Beautiful local neighborhoods with picturesque streets, hills full of nature with a great view from the top, awesome street art and many cute Greek taverns perfect for discovering Greek cuisine flavors!

What also makes us different from a typical agency, is that we prefer having smaller groups. This allows us to develop a better connection with our customers and explore the city as a group of friends would do!

”Every time I opened my Google maps what you could see was crazy.. Hundreds of pins, favorites and starred places around Athens” he says.

Born and raised in Athens, Yiorgos decided to drop everything and start building Athens Locals because of his love for the city!

What makes him special? The fact that he walked or biked every little inch of the city, handpicked the coolest spots, neighborhoods, streets and shops in the city and wants to share it with you.

”Every time I went on a trip, I always had this thought, to find a local to show me around and experience the city from a different perspective.” That’s how the idea was born!

Yiorgos will not only walk around the city with you and show you the best of it, but make you feel comfortable and get the whole local experience, as he would also do for a friend!
